A Website Redesign for Our Customers
Digital River Education Services (JourneyEd) had redesigned its website (www.JourneyEd.com) unlike most organizations' revamps to their Internet presence. While many companies "redecorate" making cosmetic changes to their sites, JourneyEd has created a whole new site to enable customers an easier time of finding products and to enable JourneyEd to seamlessly handle an ever-increasing number of orders. JourneyEd Adds 6,000 eStores in 2006
JourneyEd has created more than 10,000 individually tailored, private label eStores for educational institutions, college bookstores, student associations and software/hardware companies, including more than 6,000 eStores created in 2006. Here students can log on and receive tremendously discounted pricing on software they use everyday in their classes and in their lives. Read more»
Supplier Connectivity Achieved
JourneyEd, jointly with Microsoft, Sunrise Technologies, and Idea Integration, has successfully implemented an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution based on the Microsoft's Biztalk Server 2006 platform. The solution ties together inventory data provided by our major suppliers into JourneyEd's existing Microsoft Dynamics-AX back-engine implementation to facilitate direct customer sales of Ingram Micro inventory. This integration has occurred using the existing supplier XML interface(s) and has leveraged the Microsoft Dynamics AX Business Connector to facilitate automated data entry into our existing JourneyEd Academic eStore Network (AEN) online product ordering system. JourneyEd Selected by FCCC
JourneyEd was recently selected by the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FCCC) to handle the Microsoft Student Select program for its 109 member consortia and 2 million students. Students, teachers and school staff members at community colleges throughout California which are part of FCCC may now purchase personal copies of popular Microsoft software packages at significant savings through the Microsoft Student Select Program. This program is made available by a licensing agreement between Microsoft and FCCC and administered through Digital River Education Services Inc. (JourneyEd) and Hewlett-Packard. Read more»
