Musings from Mike
Every successful business and every individual has a "WOW" moment on occasion. For JourneyEd, our most recent WOW moments came earlier this year and last month. Earlier this year it happened to coincide with Microsoft's own WOW moment that the company trumpeted marquee-style on its website. That's because Microsoft rolled out Vista and most of their 2007 product line in one historic day.
As Bill Gates was acknowledging his company's WOW moment, at JourneyEd, we were moving toward record-breaking numbers ourselves. As a result of the Microsoft product launches and our own marketing, we experienced our own WOW moment. We broke our warehouse record, almost doubling the amount that had previously existed. Last month, Adobe rolled its own greatly anticipated Creative Suite 3 launch. Again, due to great execution we broke our own record.
Our WOW-Days would not have been possible without the efforts of our incredible employees and loyal customers. Every workstation I passed during these days was buzzing with people actively doing everything possible to help ship out as many products as possible.
I am confident we will have more WOW moments over this next year. Thank you for making them possible.
