Each port has a maximum data throughput rate of 115.2 kbps. Because of its PCI architecture, the Quattro-PCI allows IRQ sharing and automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM addresses.
Since all four ports share one PCI bus IRQ, even when accessed simultaneously, you save valuable resources for other expansion cards.
